Today we spent the entire day in the computer lab. Some of you used your time very wisely, while others did not. Either way--good or bad--this will show in the quality of your final draft!
Homework and Looking Ahead:
FRIDAY: I will collect your source card information (either on notecards or the piece of paper with 4 squares). I was answering questions and failed to collect them today. We will be in the lab on Friday, again working on your paper and finalizing things. Your rough draft of your notable person is due MONDAY!
MONDAY: We will be peer editing all day in class. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR NOTABLE PERSON portion in class at the very least. However, as I have suggested, I feel it would be in your best interest to have the other corrected versions of the other sections you have completed. This way you get at least two sets of eyes looking at it before you hand it in.
TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY: we will spend in the LRC. You will fine tune your paper to get it prepared to turn in to www.turnitin.com by Friday.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: As a reward for working so hard on your paper we will be watching "What About Bob?" You may bring in a small snack if you'd like. In addition to watching the movie, you can use the LRC to submit your paper on line if you wish. Again, the paper is due in it's entirety no later than 11:59 PM Friday.
